 Depending on the activity involved we execute all labour and operations subject to the following terms and conditions:
Rates are based on current level of costs. We reserve the right to increase rates quoted if a sudden and substantial increase of one or more cost components in our quotation occurs.
Westerstuw is an ISPS certified port facility. Relevant rates and terms and conditions apply.
If personnel, employed or hired by the client - including shipboard personnel, utilises or drives Westerstuw owned/leased equipment or operates ship bound equipment, the client employing or hiring such personnel will be liable for any and all damages caused by them to property of Westerstuw or to property owned by any other party present on the terminal whilst operating such equipment.
If within the scope of the the work, covered by this quotation, the client requests Westerstuw that Westerstuw personnel carry out tasks under client’s management and client’s directives such tasks are to be considered as being carried out by the client. In such case the client is fully responsible for performance by Westerstuw personnel of such tasks, which includes damages caused to property of Westerstuw or to property owned by any other party present on the Westerstuw terminal.
If Dutch customs decide that a container or break-bulk cargo is to be x-rayed or checked physically all costs in relation thereto, including but not limited to customs inspection fees, transport and equipment costs, stripping and stuffing are to be borne by the client.
Regular working hours at Westerstuw are Monday to Friday from 07.30 hours to 15.30 hours. Working overtime on weekdays, during the weekend or on public holidays is possible after mutual agreement and against overtime additionals, available upon request.
Payment of our invoices is requested to be done by addressees/agents of vessels within 8 days from date of invoice.
